Katy Perry has described 2011 as an "intense" year after enduring a hectic schedule on her' California Dreams' tour, three new single releases as well as her first year of marriage.
The 'California Gurls' singer has had a landmark year after scoring five number one singles on the Billboard chart from her 'Teenage Dream' album, a feat matched only by Michael Jackson's 'Bad' album.
"It's been intense," Katy told The Mirror this week.
"I've been clinging on to the rocket for dear life, hoping I don't get bucked off."
Despite being forced to laugh off rumours she was filing for divorce earlier this month, Katy says her 14-month marriage to comedian Russell Brand has been "lovely so far".
